What is the National Dentistry Exam? And for what purpose is it held?

This exam is held by the Medical Education Assessment Organization to validate the credentials of dental graduates from abroad.

The National Dental Examination includes questions in the fields of basic sciences and specialized dental sciences. The exam consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. Initially, graduates must participate in the theoretical exam, and if they pass and demonstrate their knowledge in basic and specialized sciences, they can prepare for the practical exam. The National Dental Examination's theoretical section is held twice a year, in August and January, in Iran.
